Carry On (2024)

An okay film with the best title i’ve seen all year.

Quick breakdown of the premise: airport security worker is told to let damaged goods through the security check or his girlfriend will die. I honestly think they came up with the title and this vague premise, and were so busy congratulating themselves for the pun of the century they forgot to actually write anything after the first draft.

The dialogue is wooden, the characters lack depth, and even though the stakes are very high, the stakes just don’t feel that high. Something something about a politician, i don’t know?

This one just didn’t do it for me. But the title is amazing.
