Charlie’s angels (2000)

This is a perfect example of the best kind of films from the early 2000s: a little bit trashy, but clearly just very fun. There is no deeper meaning or cinematic universe, just ninety-eighth minutes of good times.
In terms of cinematography, it’d be a good choice for trope bingo. As i say, the plot is not exactly subtle or unexpected, but that’s not really the goal. It’s more like an american kung-fu film, and the focus is on the fight choreography and one-liners; the fight choreography is pretty excellent, and the one-liners are generally mid-to-excellent as well. A sticking point for some people seems to be that the angels wear what they want and do what they want, but i think that’s fine, and it’s not actually problematic for a woman to like martial arts and crop tops at the same time.
It’s a trashy film, but a fun film. Recommend it!
