Scary movie (2000)

Quite possibly one of the worst things i’ve ever watched. It was neither funny nor scary, and the majority of the jokes were in incredibly bad taste.

Perhaps fundamentally a parody film parodying a film that is already a parody is off to a bad start. The rest of the jokes are sexist, racist, homophobic, or transphobic. There are very few exceptions, and most of those are gross humour.

Having said that, there were a lot of nods to other films which were fun to collect throughout. But i would rather watch an homage with at least slightly better acting and that less offends my delicate sensibilities.
