The wonder of nothing
18 Dec 2021
The wonder of ignorance is permanence. no longer do you need to hear again the same thing that has been said before, or hear the new thing that won’t be said again, except in some new, same, form. nothing is new, and when it is, you will find it when you need to find it. ignorance isn’t to live in the past, ignorance is to live in the always.
The wonder of inconvenience is satisfaction. to have, to get, without a story these things are too fast, and we get bored. there is no joy in immediacy, and no care. to be satisfied you must stand up and move, and only then will you really appreciate. the food we prepare ourselves tastes better, the songs we write ourselves are more joyful, the clothes we make ourselves are more beautiful.
The wonder of indifference is relaxation. no longer do you need to worry about what other people think about you, because if that matters, they will tell you. and if they tell you, you can still be indifferent. you can do what you want and wear what you want and eat what you want and say what you want, and none of it matters, and you will be beautiful.
The wonder of mundanity is expectation. you know what to expect, and you know what not to expect. in these two things you can know everything that will happen. when you know what will happen, you know what will not happen. and when you know what will not happen, you know what you can make happen. take control of happening, and you will take control of time.
The wonder of thirst is drinking. the sweetness of water, the fragrance of tea, these joys are dull and worthless when you appetite is satisfied. but wait for what you need, and drink what you need, and the taste is so beautiful. through the pain we can understand the relief. through the relief we can appreciate the thirst.
The wonder of nothing is everything. everything is in the wonder of nothing.
