Hello wonderful people inside of the internet, and welcome to the end of another week on planet earth! This week was the week with a new year in the middle, which i celebrated by watching the third spongebob film—not going to make that mistake again.

It is also exam week now here in Shanghai, which is the perfect way to start a new year. It means i can’t start the new year feeling super reset, because i have to keep thinking about things from the year that just happened. So i’ll be doing more big new year contemplation in a week or so.

I also sadly failed at my tab-closing mission; i made great progress and closed over eight hundred tabs, but there’s still a way to go. Many people have told me i should just close all of them and start over, and i wish i could, i really do. But i’ve had such a good time looking through all the tabs that i think i would rob myself of some small joy if i did that.

Anyway, that brings us to now; in terms of things that happened, this week was quiet. As usual, i’m sitting in bed, having just watched the velocipastor. It’s one of my favourite films, and i’m glad that the majority of people watching also seemed to enjoy it.
